Behind the Bike Sheds

Behind the Bike Sheds is located alongside the scenic Otago Central Rail Trail, snuggled between the Hogburn and the Taieri River in the quaint village of Waipiata. Behind the Bike Sheds will provide you with a unique accommodation experience in a spacious setting with lovely views of the Maniototo big sky country.

Behind the Bike Sheds offers two gorgeous cabins designed to provide a fantastic experience in a unique country setting. You will enjoy waking up in the stunning Maniototo and drink in the view while savouring a hot cuppa.

The Blue Room offers a queen sized bed, tea and coffee making facilities and a continental breakfast.

The Bunk House sleeps four in the best kiwiana style bunk house you will ever lean your bike against. Tea and coffee making facilities and a continental breakfast are provided.

Dinner can be prepared and served to you if you wish, and a glowing brazier will keep you toasty while you watch the milky way turn on a starry spectacular in the crystal clear skies above.
