No matter who you are, where you live, or the issues you're facing through cancer, the Central Otago Support Services Team can help with services that are free, confidential and accessible. These services are available for carers, family and friends as well.
We provide services across Central with staff coordinating services with local volunteer groups.
Our support services team aims to help those affected by cancer maintain a positive future outlook and make the most of living in the present.
We offer an extensive range of practical services which can include • information on cancer and treatment issues. • emotional and psychological support • practical support such as gardening, respite care, errands, meals etc • accommodation in Dunedin during treatment for out of town patients • advocacy in helping to identify what other support is available that an individual / family may not be aware of
Every individual is treated with the upmost respect and privacy and after further discussion we can tailor the services we can offer to the specific needs of the individual and or family.
