Rural Women New Zealand is the respected voice of rural New Zealand families and communities because we understand and address social, economic and environmental aspects of rural communities.
We make a difference in rural communities by making submissions at national level where Rural Women New Zealand has a leading voice for rural women and their families.
The organisation provides educational scholarships, bursaries and grants for rural children. Workshops, leadership training, demonstrations and skills days are frequently organised. Support and friendship are invaluable amongst rural families.
The Central Otago Executive disseminates information from branches to regional and national representatives and back to branches and members again.
New members are always welcome at any local branch ( Tarras, Cromwell, Dunstan Group, Glenorchy, Cambrian – St Bathans ) where we aim to strengthen rural communities.
