Tavish's Kitchen creates and makes wonderful jams, chutneys and sauces from locally grown fruit, including apricots, cherries, nectarines, plums, quinces, pears, apples, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries.
A wide variety of chutney's which many people like to taste before they buy include apricot and walnut, nectarine and ginger, cherry chutney, beetroot and wild thyme, blackberry, pear and wild thyme, Indian rhubarb and spicy tomato.
As well as the usual sauces of plum, apricot and cherry I have added apple and wild thyme, just wonderful on that pork.
Recently I have been making jellies from apples, crab apples and quinces.
These products are available from the Central Otago Farmers Market which operates from Labour Weekend untill the end of February. A number of fruit stalls in the vicinity of Cromwell also stock my product. You can also buy online at my website.
