This ride is 47km in distance and descends from Auripo Road through the valleys of Central Otago into the townships of Alexandra/Clyde.

Altitude Adventures Ltd shall not be held responsible for any damage, expense or inconvenience caused by the late arrival of public transport, change of schedule, strikes, vehicle breakdown, Acts of God, or other conditions.
Altitude Adventures Ltd acts solely as an agent in securing accommodation and where applicable, public transport and shall not be held liable in the event of any failure by such providers to render services booked by us.
Altitude Adventures Ltd reserves the right to resell a tour space, without notice, if final payment has not been made by the due date.
When hiring a bicycle the hirer is responsible for the repair or replacement cost in case of damage or loss of any item. Altitude Adventures reserves the right to charge for repair or replacement.
Payments
Upon receipt of a 15% deposit your booking will be confirmed. Tour balance is to be paid within 1 month of your departure date. If booking is within 1 month of departure date the total cost of the tour is required. All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include 15% GST. We accept Visa, MasterCard and personal cheques. We will also accept direct debits by arrangement.
It is the responsibility of the Booking Agent/Tour Wholesaler to ensure that payment is collected for all confirmed reservations prior to client’s departure and that sufficient funds are held at all times to cover any cancellation fees. The Booking Agent/Tour Wholesaler must ensure to draw the client’s attention to our terms and conditions.
By making a deposit/payment you are deemed to have accepted Altitude Adventure’s Terms and Conditions.
Cancellation and Payment Refunds
Cancellations are to be notified in writing by the person taking the tour. A $25 administration charge applies to all cancellations
Cancellations 30 days or more prior to departure will not result in a loss of deposit and/or payment.
Cancellations made between 11 to 30 days prior to departure will result in a loss of 50% of the deposit and any additional cancellation fees imposed by accommodation providers or their agents.
Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to departure will receive no refund.
It is highly recommended that clients have full travel, accident, medical, luggage and cancellation insurance.
Safety Terms and Conditions
There are inherent risks in any adventure activity and while the staff and management of Altitude Adventures take all practical steps to identify and minimize potential dangers, it is a condition of us accepting your booking that you agree to follow instructions and use the safety equipment provided at all times.
Altitude Adventures Ltd relinquishes any liability for injury or damage as a result of participation in our activities.
It is a condition of us accepting your booking that:
This release covers the tour, associated transport and equipment provided to you by Altitude Adventures Limited.
•You have acknowledged that taking part in this activity involves certain inherent risks including, navigational difficulties, collision, inclement weather, terrain conditions, illness and accidents and despite these risks you wish to take part in this activity and accept responsibility for your own safety and for the above risks.
•You will wear an approved safety helmet at all times when cycling.
•You will not make any claim against Altitude Adventures Limited, its employees or any organization associated with this company, for any injury/loss to yourself or others (including any person accompanying you under the age of 18), or for any damage to your own or others property as a result of your participation in an Altitude Adventure Limited tour. This includes the travel to and from the tours.
•You will indemnify Altitude Adventures Limited against all claims, damages or losses (including costs), which it incurs as the direct or indirect result of you taking part in the tour including costs of enforcing this release.
•You understand that all riding sections of Altitude Adventure Limited off-road tours are non-smoking for safety reasons.
•You agree that this release is binding on your family, your heirs, your legal assignees, your administrators and executors. You are 18 years of age or older. You have fully read and understood this release before signing it or agreeing to come on the tour.
