Hinton Estate Vineyard was established by the family that has grown premium fruit in Central Otago for the last five generations. Nigel and Elisabeth Hinton developed the vineyard and winery along with their son Howie, (the winemaker) and his wife Sarah.
The Hintons planted the first Pinot Noir vines in 1999 and the vineyard now produces seven varietals, although Pinot is still “King”. The Pinot Noirs won awards both on the domestic and international stages.

- Fruit sales – Fresh, ripe seasonal fruit straight from the orchards. Fruit for preserving available on request
- Nibble platters – Tasty selection of platters to nibble with your wine or coffee.
- Wine sales – Cases of wine delivered free throughout New Zealand. Personalised labels can be made for case orders, great idea for weddings, anniversaries or reunions.
